Exploring Abstract Art Techniques (all skill levels) consists of 4 classes Tuesday, March 19, March 26, April 9, April 16, 6:30–8:00. Join a fun and creative class while exploring your intuition and imagination with paintbrushes, rollers, rags and other tools to put color on paper and canvas. A variety of artistic techniques such as splatter painting, impasto, staining, tape, mixed media, drop rolling, sponge painting and monoprint methods will be explored while expressing one's emotions and personality. Students will learn about color theory, acrylic and watercolor painting methods as they look and learn about styles and methods of the masters of abstract art. This class is suitable for all levels and is perfect for those new to art as well as for those who want to further develop their artistic style. A supply list will be provided.
